Thank you for trusting Nap Time Stitchery with your special clothing and memories. Every keepsake is handmade with care, so please take your time to review these policies before booking.
Booking & Payment
Once your order form has been reviewed and accepted, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to officially reserve your production month. This deposit goes toward your final order total.
The remaining balance is due when your order is finished, before shipping or local handoff.
Scheduling & Deadlines
Orders are booked by production month, not by an exact start date. I’ll reach out approximately 6–8 weeks beforehand with instructions for getting your clothing to me. Your clothing must arrive by the deadline provided to keep your reserved spot. If your clothing isn’t received on time, your order may need to be moved or canceled according to the rescheduling policy below.
I do my best to meet agreed-upon completion dates, but unexpected circumstances can occasionally cause delays. I’ll always keep you updated if something changes.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that plans change! Each order may be rescheduled one time, as long as the request is made before your clothing deadline. Your new production month will depend on availability in my schedule.
If your clothing isn’t received by the deadline, I’ll send one final reminder. If I don’t hear back within 14 days, your booking may be canceled and your deposit forfeited.
If you choose to cancel your order, your deposit is non-refundable. If I’m unable to complete your order due to fault of my own, any payments you’ve made will be refunded.
Because each keepsake is custom-made, completed orders are final sale. If there’s ever an issue with your finished keepsake, please reach out so I can help make it right.
Clothing & Handmade Keepsakes
Please only send clean clothing that you’re comfortable having permanently cut and altered. Clothing must be free of unsafe contamination, including mold, pests, or bodily fluids.
Your order form will also ask whether you’d like unused clothing and larger fabric remnants returned. Tiny scraps and unusable materials may be discarded during construction.
Shipping & Local Handoffs
I offer shipping and scheduled public meetups for clothing drop-offs and finished orders. I do not offer pickups or drop-offs at my home.
All local handoffs must be arranged directly with me. Please do not leave items with employees or staff at meetup locations.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs in both directions, including return shipping added to the final invoice. I recommend using tracking when mailing clothing, as I cannot be responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. I’ll confirm as soon as your clothing arrives.
Changes & Customization
Please double-check all names, dates, spelling, measurements, and other details submitted with your order. Changes may be possible before production begins, but could affect pricing. Once clothing has been cut, some changes may no longer be possible. Corrections to information provided incorrectly may come with an additional charge.
Photos & Social Media
Your order form will ask for permission to photograph and share your finished keepsake. I’ll always respect your choice, including waiting until after a gift has been given. Choosing not to allow photos to be shared will never affect your order.
Keepsake Safety
Nap Time Stitchery products are handmade keepsakes, not toys, unless specifically stated otherwise. Some items may contain small parts, embellishments, or weighted materials and should not be used for unsupervised play or infant sleep.
Communication & Agreement
Please keep your contact information current and watch for emails about deadlines, invoices, and order updates. Timely responses help keep everything on schedule.
