I first fell upon my sewing journey in March of 2020. While my job and a majority of the world was shut down, I found myself fumbling around with an old sewing machine, making face masks to aid in the PPE shortage. Each fabric piece I worked with was a small thread connecting me to my community, a way to help when everything felt so disconnected. As I stitched those masks, I discovered not just a skill but a source of joy and creativity.

The loss of someone dear to me in 2021, coupled with the joy of welcoming my first child later that year, ignited a passion within me. These powerful life events fueled my desire to honor memories and celebrate fleeting moments through my sewing. Now, as a stay-at-home mother of two, sewing has become an essential part of my life, providing a peaceful escape during nap times – hence my business name.
